Go Seminoles!

Daddy took Caleb to his very first Florida State University Seminole game in Tallahassee today. They had a great time, and Caleb cannot wait until he gets to go again.

Bowling

We took Caleb bowling for the first time tonight. He loved it. We were very proud of him for having a great attitude, for having fun even though he wasn't very good at it, and for being grateful. Caleb is definitely a perfectionist like his Mommy, so we thought he might get frustrated, but he didn't.

It was a great family outing and a lot of fun for us all.

Batting Practice

This week, Caleb decided that he wanted to learn how to bat. He has a strong arm and has always thrown well, but he does not know how to bat. Daddy bought him a T-ball set so that he could start practicing. In the beginning, Daddy showed him how to bat right handed. Caleb is left handed like Daddy, but Daddy plays sports right handed so he figured he would try teaching Caleb that way first. After batting right handed for a while, they switched to left handed, which Caleb said was easier for him. He kept practicing until it was dark. Caleb enjoyed his new T-ball set a lot. I have a feeling that we will be spending many nights this summer watching Caleb bat in the backyard.
