Today was a very busy day. This morning we went to the Orlando Science Center. We have annual passes and love to go there. With the weather getting so hot, we will be going there much more often the next few months.
We introduced Eli to Kids Town for the first time, and he loved it. His favorite part was the Orange Grove Factory. It is supposed to mimic the process of oranges making it to the store. Children can pick oranges (plastic orange balls) from trees, put them in a machine, and then send them down a conveyer belt that sends the oranges back to the trees. Eli loved putting the oranges into the machine and watching them go up. In fact, he added the word "up" to his vocabulary today.
After naps, the boys were acting a little crazy making it impossible for me to get dinner made, so we got our tent out. The boys enjoyed playing in it. Eli liked crawling in and out of it. Caleb got his pillow, blanket, and Blue Bear and pretended to camp out.
When Daddy got home, we took the boys to play outside. We got a car for Eli from a friend, and he got to try it out for the first time. He enjoyed being pushed around but did not want to try to do it himself yet. Caleb played with his shadow which was nice and long due to the sun setting.
