My New Shirt

After discovering the SouleMama blog and receiving some cool "Craft of the Day" emails, I got inspired to get the sewing machine out to make some clothes for me and the boys. This sewing impulse coincided with Caleb's desire for Spider-Man shorts, so we made a trip to JoAnn's to buy fabric and patterns. So far, I have finished one pair of shorts for Caleb and a shirt for me. I have not taken a picture of Caleb's shorts yet as I want to wait until Eli's matching ones are ready. I did, however, take some pictures of my new shirt. I really like it even though it has some flaws. It is the first shirt I have ever sewn, and I think it came out pretty well. I am proud that I finished it, it fits, and it looks halfway decent.
